Art of Aloha by Michelle Ramos

Arizona-based artist, Michelle Ramos, creates art with a unique combination of watercolor, acrylic, ink and paint markers. Her style and subjects capture her passion for the Hawaiian Islands and the culture of the people of Polynesia. Michelle's artwork is not just limited to Hawaiian themed art. She can produce a wide variety of quality paintings and pieces of work. Michelle offers artwork selections from full wall murals to simple wood signs.

Michelle has always been involved with art and music, earning numerous awards and distinctions throughout her youth and secondary education. Art was left behind as a hobby for many years as Michelle pursued a career in wildlife and humane education. Working with numerous species of animals and educating at facilities such as the Phoenix Zoo, Southwest Wildlife, and the Arizona Science Center; she had little time to focus on her artistic roots. Her creativity turned into informal education activity and lesson plan building. Currently Michelle serves as the Director of Education for the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA.

With an increased focus on spending time with the people and things that bring her the most joy, Michelle decided to shift priorities and return to her childhood passion: creating Art of Aloha!

Michelle shares her Gilbert home with her three children and husband.
